Terms of Service

1. Booking and Payment

• All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the 20% planning fee, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• The remaining 80% is due on the day of the tour, payable in cash (JPY) or via PayPal / credit card.
• Payment instructions will be provided by email after your booking inquiry is confirmed.

2. Cancellation Policy

Please note that the 20% planning fee is non-refundable in all cases.

• 30 days or more before the tour: 20% of total cost
• 15–29 days before the tour: 30% of total cost
• 7–14 days before the tour: 50% of total cost
• 6 days or fewer before the tour: 80% of total cost
• Within 48 hours of the tour: 100% of total cost

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by the person who made the booking, via email to info@japanova-journey.com or WhatsApp at +81 70-9003-0716.

3. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are expected to behave respectfully toward the guide, local residents, and cultural sites throughout the tour. Compliance with local laws, customs, and any site-specific rules is required. JAPANOVA JOURNEY reserves the right to terminate a tour without refund if a guest's conduct is deemed inappropriate or disruptive.

4. Service Modifications

JAPANOVA JOURNEY reserves the right to modify or cancel any part of the tour due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to severe weather, public health concerns, or safety issues. We will notify you as early as possible and work to offer an alternative arrangement where feasible.

5. Liability

JAPANOVA JOURNEY is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage incurred during the tour unless caused directly by our negligence. Participation in all activities — including transportation, walking, and any optional experiences — is at the guest's own risk. We strongly recommend that all guests arrange personal travel insurance prior to their trip.

6. Children

Children under 6 are not counted toward group size and are free of charge. Parents and guardians are fully responsible for the safety and behaviour of children throughout the tour.

7. Photography and Personal Data

Photos taken during the tour may occasionally be used for promotional purposes on our website or social media, unless you request otherwise in advance. Personal data provided at the time of booking is used solely to arrange your tour and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

8. Policy Updates

These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the most current version. The date of the most recent revision will be noted below.
